Catalysis and high-pressure chemistry
Many synthesis steps run only under high pressure and require the use of catalysts. The introduction of carbonyl or amino groups into aromatic systems are good examples of this. AllessaSyntec has a range of different reactors in which high-pressure syntheses can be carried out at pressures of up to 200 bar. A large number of different reactors made from Hastelloy, stainless steel, and glass-lined steel offer sufficient capacity to produce several tons of material.

We use high-pressure technology primarily for:
  • carbonylation and hydroformylation
  • amination
  • hydrogenation
  • air oxidation
Our equipment:
  • Stainless steel up to 1.8 m3 (up to 200 bar)
  • Hastelloy up to 1.6 m3 (up to 200 bar)
  • Glass-lined steel up to 1.0 m3 (up to 20 bar)
  • Trial autoclaves 0.2 to 10 l in glass, stainless steel and Hastelloy (up to 750 bar)
